File my candidacy

A candidate may run for one position only. The file is submitted online; the candidacy fee is paid in cash to the designated members of the Commission or via Zelle, and you are given a receipt. Documents remain confidential and are never published.

Single candidate for a post: the ballot offers “For”, “Against” or blank; the candidate is elected only with more than 50% of the voters for that post. Otherwise the post is declared vacant: the Commission reopens candidacies and holds a new election for that post within 30 days.

  2. Be an active CAMCO member in good standing (dues paid)
  3. Live in the association's area
  4. Not be a member of the electoral committee (resign no later than filing)
  5. Pay the candidacy fee: 0 USD, non-refundable
  6. Run for this position only
