Purpose and data collected
The data (name, first names, date of birth, email, WhatsApp number, neighbourhood, ID document, ID photo) are used solely to draw up the voters' list, issue voter cards, review candidacies and organise the vote. They are never sold or shared with third parties.
The platform never asks for a banking password, a payment card number or for software to be installed. Payments are made in cash to designated Commission members or via Zelle, with a receipt.
Confirmation codes
The 6-digit codes are generated by the platform and sent by email or WhatsApp. They are personal: the Commission will never ask you for them.
Ballot secrecy
The list of voters and the electronic ballot box are kept separately: no one, not even the Commission, can link a ballot to a voter.
Cookies
Technical cookies only: session, chosen language, document access (30 days) and a device identifier for the “one phone, one vote” rule. No advertising or analytics cookies.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to the CAMCO Electoral Committee. Data are kept for the duration of the electoral process and any appeals.
Legal framework
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable United States and North Carolina law on the protection of personal data and with the CAMCO Statutes.
